The Moeraki Boulders are scattered
along the beach 40 km south of Oamaru. A pleasant coastal trip can
be made via Kakanui and Waianakarua
to see the boulders. |

is a drive through Danseys Pass.
Admire the magnificent views - see the Maniototo
and the beautiful coast line of North Otago. The Danseys Hotel is
a great place to stop for a coffee break or lunch. Drive back to
'Tara' via the Pigroot,
returning through Palmerston. |
